Brisbane newborn photoshoot

Just before the festive season, I had the pleasure of visiting Rachel and Xavier in their beautiful home on Brisbane’s northside to capture newborn photos of their sweet baby girl, Nora. Their home was warm and welcoming, a place that instantly made you feel at ease. It was the perfect backdrop for documenting the early days of their journey into parenthood.

This relaxed newborn session was filled with so many lovely moments. We chatted about everything new parents experience in those whirlwind newborn weeks—those long nights, the tiny milestones that seem to come so quickly, and the incredible mix of joy and exhaustion that fills each day. It was clear how deeply Rachel and Xavier adore Nora, and their connection as a family was a privilege to capture.

As I snapped away, the morning light filtered gently into their home, adding a soft, golden glow to the photos. Nora was peaceful in her parents’ arms, her little expressions and sleepy stretches bringing smiles to everyone in the room.

It’s always such an honor to be invited into a family’s life during such a special time. These moments, especially during the lead-up to Christmas, were full of warmth and love—memories that Rachel and Xavier can treasure forever as they celebrate Nora’s first holiday season.
